This month’s linkup is all about drinks! Cocktails (and mocktails) to serve at your next party. Well, I’m all about my Vitamix these days, and while I could easily whip up a frozen margarita, I am more into making healthy smoothies and drinks. You can add vodka to this if you like, or really anything to make it more of a cocktail. It’s a wonderful drink that quenches thirst and fights cancer! That is, as long as you can crack open that young coconut.

It’s hard to believe that it’s already time to get ready for Pesach, but Purim has passed and Passover really is right around the corner. This year, we’re preparing with this easy, no-bake dessert that requires no special equipment (because maybe you only have KforP bowls and forks!).
Macaroons
What’s Passover without a macaroon? I always thought I didn’t like macaroons. I mean, why would I? They’re dry, kinda tasteless, and come in a can. Not to mention they were probably from LAST passover. At least at Grandma’s house…But then I realized that you can make macaroons at home. They don’t have to be store bought. And they’re very simple to make, especially if you follow Mark Bittman’s recipe. Continue reading
